OPERATIONS DURING COVID-19

Business as usual, but from a safe distance.

In compliance with guidelines set out by Public Health and the Government of Ontario, our retail space at 482 Belmont is now closed for in-person shopping. We remain fully staffed in all departments and are committed to providing the exceptional shopping experience that we take such pride in, but from a safe distance.   

 

SHOP OUR COLLECTIONS

We will continue to operate during our regular business hours which are 10am to 5pm, Monday – Saturday. We invite you to shop using our website and Instagram page for inspiration and send us a message with any questions regarding pricing or dimensions.  Looking for something specific? Give us a call, send an email to your favourite Schreiter’s team member, or utilize the chat feature on our website to set up a complimentary 30-minute virtual in-store sales consultation and connect one on one with a Design Consultant. Virtual sales appointments are a great opportunity to get a second opinion regarding your space and then tour the store to identify items that would best suit your vision.

 

NO CONTACT PICKUP

Contact-free pickups continue to be available by appointment. At the time of booking, we will have you confirm whether you would like to receive your furniture assembled or unassembled and process your payment over the phone by credit card or e-transfer, as our staff will not be able to process payment in person. During your appointment, we ask that you remain in your vehicle to give our team space to load your furniture. 

 

THRESHOLD FURNITURE DELIVERY SERVICE

At this time, we are not able to offer in-home delivery service and will instead be delivering your furniture by appointment to an exterior entrance of your choosing, as close to your door as possible without physically entering your home or building. At the time of booking, you must confirm that you are able to move the furniture inside without our assistance. Any outstanding balance must be settled in advance by credit card or e-transfer, as our delivery personnel will not be able to accept payment in person. You will receive a phone call when we arrive notifying you that we are dropping your items off but ask that you remain inside your home during the delivery process.

If you would prefer to wait to receive your delivery until we are fully operational again and can carry it into your house for you we are happy to hold your furniture for you in the meantime.

DESIGN CONSULTATIONS

We are currently unable to offer in-person design consultations, but our designers are available via telephone, video conference, and email to provide a full-service design experience remotely. Design time is priced by the hour at $100 and can be used for video meetings, floor plans and layouts, furniture selection, inspiration boards, colour consultations, and more.
