OPERATIONS DURING COVID-19

We’re Back!

 

Our showroom at 482 Belmont is open with a reduced occupancy limit, and priority will be given to those who have an appointment.  We have introduced new practices to support safe shopping during our reduced shopping hours, Monday through Saturday 10am to 5pm.

Appointments can be made using the chat feature on our website, by contacting  your favourite design consultant or emailing us at [email protected]. Please indicate the number of people shopping with you and your objectives in your message when requesting an appointment. We recommend booking appointments at least 24 hours in advance, however, we can often accommodate same-day requests.

In order to limit capacity and maintain a safe work/shopping environment for all who visit us we have updated our store policy to include the following changes: 

  • All staff and customers MUST wear  a mask and clean their hands upon entering.
  • Stay at least 2 metres away from staff and other shoppers and limit physical contact with furniture and store fixtures.
  • All appointments will be limited to maximum 2 clients.
  • At this time we ask that children not accompany adults to scheduled appointments while we work to respect guidelines in place that limit capacity and allow for safe social distancing.

If you are showing any signs of possible illness, STAY HOME and reschedule your appointment. Symptoms may include cough, runny nose, fever or shortness of breath. Do not enter if you have travelled outside of Canada in the last 14 days. 

 

NO-CONTACT FURNITURE DELIVERY

To continue to protect our staff and our community, we are not offering white glove delivery service at this time and will instead be delivering your furniture by appointment as close to your door as possible without physically entering your home or building. At time of booking you must confirm that you are able to move the furniture inside without our assistance. Any outstanding balance must be settled in advance by credit card or e-transfer, as our delivery personnel will not be able to accept payment in person. You will receive a phone call when we arrive notifying you that we are dropping your items off but ask that you remain inside your home during the delivery process.

If you would prefer to wait to receive your delivery until we are fully operational again we are happy to hold your furniture for you in the meantime.

NO-CONTACT FURNITURE PICKUP

We are currently offering no-contact pickups by appointment at our Warehouse on Gage St. in Kitchener. At this time we will not be able to facilitate pickups without a scheduled appointment. At the time of booking we will have you confirm whether you would like to receive your furniture assembled or unassembled and process your payment over the phone by credit card or e-transfer, as our warehouse staff will not be able to process payment in person. During your appointment we ask that you remain in your vehicle to give our team space to load your furniture. As always, customer pickup appointments at our warehouse are available free of charge.

DESIGN CONSULTATIONS

We are currently unable to offer in-person design consultations, but our designers are available via telephone, video conference and email to provide a full-service design experience remotely. Design time is priced by the hour at $100, and can be used for video meetings, floor plans and layouts, furniture selection, inspiration boards, colour consultations and more.
